葱油鸡steam chicken

A few days ago, watched a cooking video about this steam chicken,..so decided to try it out since it's quite easy.  Let's see what are the ingredient:


INGREDIENTS:
1 chicken thigh
2 stalk spring onion
3-5 slices of ginger
some chinese white wine (米酒)/liquor
salt
1tbsp onion oil


methods:
1.  Clean the chicken thigh thoroughly , rub a little salt on the chicken and place it on a plate .

2.  Chopped the spring onion into 3 quarters.
3.  Place the onion & ginger on the chicken.
4.  Pour some white wine on the chicken .
5.  Steam for 15 mins.  Make sure the water is boiling before your steam the chicken.

6.  After 15 mins, throw away the onion & ginger.


7.  Let the chicken to cool before chopping .
8.  Pour the gravy after steaming in a small bowl.


9.  Add in the onion oil, stir and pour over the chicken after chopping.


ONION OIL(葱油)
3-4 red onion (chopped)
3-4 tbsp oil

1.  fried the onion till brown.  Let it cool before crush the onion.
