PUMPKIN SHOOTS WITH BABY CORN AND PRAWN炒煮南瓜藤

Just like this simple dish very much, especially when the shoots were freshly plucked & cook immediately after that.  Very sweet  :)

Ingredients:
some pumpkin shoots
some bb corn

After removed the hard part..rubbed the shoots like the pic above..drain the water

6 medium saiz prawn
some minced garlic


1.  Stir fried the garlic and prawn for a while.
2.  The put in the bb corn.  Stir fried a while.
3.  Lasty put in the shoots and some water.
4.  Add salt to taste.

TOMATO BABY KAILAN

I remember, my grandma, my mom & aunts always cook this way.  I seldom buy kailan because hubby doesnt really eat kailan..Since he's not around, so I can enjoy this with my daughter... :P


INGREDIENTS:
1 packet organic baby kailan (or any kailan)
some minced meat (any meat)
garlic
some water for the gravy (1- 1/2 measuring cup depend on the how much is the vege)
2 tbsp tomato sauce
some sugar & salt

method:
1.  Wash the kailan & steam for 2 min (make sure the water is boiling before steaming).
2.  Mix some oil in the kailan before steaming.
3.  Heat the wok, and put in the garlic then the minced meat. Stir fry til half cook.
4.  Pour in the water, add in the tomato sauce, sugar & salt.  Stir.
5.  Put in the kailan .  Not too long but make sure the vege is cook.

PETAI TUMIS UDANG KERING @臭豆炒虾米


1 ikat petai (dibelah spy cpt msk)
1 genggam udang kering ( direndam sampai kembang)*
5-8 ulas bawang putih *
3-5 biji cili padi (tambah kalau nak pedas lagi)*
garam & perasa

cara:
1. bahan2 * ditumbuk / diblend (jgn letak air)
2. tumis bahan 1 sampai naik bau dan agak kering..
3. masukkan petai, mskkan perasa..angkat apabila dah bertukar warna..

========================================================================

1 ikat of petai
1 handful of dried shrimps (soak in water)*
5-8 cloves of garlics *
3-5 chili /birds eye chili (add more if prefer spicier) *
salt to taste

methods:
1.  grind all * ingredients (drain the shrimps)
2. stir fry ingredients 1 till fragrant and dry up a little
3.  put in the petai & salt.
4. it's done when to petai started to change its colour.

MIXED VEGE

mixed vege+japanese tofu


*1/2 paket mushroom putih panjang bulat(kdk dlm gambar bah)
* 1/2 paket mushroom hitam
* brokoli (ikut suka la byk ney)
* 1 batang tofu jepun
* 3 kuntum kulat hitam (dihiris/dicarik2)
* bawang putih

cara:
1. goreng dulu tofu sampai kekuningan, ketepikan
2. tumiskan bawang putih, masukan brokoli..kacau sekejap...
3. masukkan sedikit air, dan tikam saja semua sayur2 lain termasuk tofu...
4. kacau dan tutup kuali (k api sederhana) sekejap jak..
5. tengok air dah mula kering, campur perasa..udah!!!

crispy needle mushroom





                                           



This is very easy to make:

INGREDIENTS:

1 packet of needle mushroom
An egg
Corn flour
A pinch of salt

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Cut the end of the mushrooms and wash.  Seperate the mushrooms into thinner/ smaller strip(as shown in the 1st pic) .
  2. In a bowl, slightly beat the egg together with the salt.
  3. Throw in the mushrooms into the egg batter and make sure they're coated in the eat.
  4. In another bowl, pour enough amount of corn flour for the coating.  Coat the mushrooms with egg one by one with the corn flour.
  5. leave it in the fridge for a while before you deep fry them.  Fried until slightly brown.
